In order to get everything on my list done by the end of the cure, I have split up all my tasks into themed weeks. This week is Furniture Week, which means I need to finish:
- putting the catches on cupboard doors, etc
- stripping, staining and varnishing the kitchen table
- painting the kitchen chairs
I have got off to a good start by putting the first coat of paint onto the kitchen chairs. Painting folding chairs is a pain, but I should be able to get these finished tomorrow in between bouts of work.
I have also ordered the floor tiles - I have all fiingers and toes crossed that they get here in time for Floor Week.
